J. Tucker Stevens
Meet Tucker Stevens, who has years of experience in financial advising through all kinds of market conditions.
Tucker says that he's been preparing all his life to be an independent financial advisor.
When he was a child, his parents encouraged him to invest his pocket money in the stock market rather than in a savings account. His modest quarterly dividends were his money to spend, and very early, Tucker learned the basics of how investments work and had the satisfaction of seeing those investments bear fruit.
After graduating from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill with a degree in history, Tucker followed his entrepreneurial instincts and opened a restaurant in Wilmington, NC, which he operated for five years before deciding to join the well-respected firm of Edward Jones as a financial advisor. He is registered as a financial advisor in multiple states.
With ten years' experience at Edward Jones, Tucker opened his own firm, Stevens Financial. He describes his approach as "high touch," taking the time to get to know each client so that he can help them design an investment plan and choose a suite of products that appropriately reflects their priorities and supports their life and financial goals.
Tucker says that it's great to have a financial roadmap, but even better to have a dedicated guide – equipped with current financial tools – along for the ride.
